TIL tarantula hawk wasp larva creates a small hole in a paralyzed spider’s abdomen, then enters and feeds voraciously, avoiding vital organs for as long as possible to keep the spider alive. It emerges several weeks later as a wasp.

Yeah, there is also different wasp breeds that specializes a particular breed of spiders, they honed their tactics to a degree such that their venom while effective against all spiders; is particularly effective against said breed they hunt.
On another note some spiders have been known on occasion to actually successfully fight back and in some cases kill said wasps.
