TIL that a fungus called Trichoderma reesei could help fix aging, crumbling infrastructures. When this fungus is mixed with concrete, it originally lies dormant — until the first crack appears. The dormant fungal spores will germinate, grow and precipitate calcium carbonate to heal the cracks.

  1. I remember that while the corona was starting to develop there was an article that talked about researchers finding a corona vaccine
    And the only quote from the researchers themselves was to keep in mind that the corona they are researching is a completely different corona their target organism is chickens and the vaccine works on a protein that does not exist in human corona and the rest of the article completely ignores it
