TIL that a man from Australia survived a car accident, buys a lottery ticket shortly after 15 days in a coma and wins. The news finds out, asks him to reenact the ticket purchase, he wins a larger amount than the first on live TV.

almost as lucky as a guy I know from my area who won a major jackpot of 6 mil back in 2013 and then 7 years later won an even bigger jackpot of 17 mil.. like wtf
I… uh… wow.
Luckily for him his country has universal healthcare of some kind so he doesn’t have to spend all $250,000 on medical bills.
