TIL that as late as 1983, the purported Holy Foreskin of Jesus was paraded through the streets of Italy, but the practice was cut off when it was removed by thieves.

Maybe Jesus came back again to retrieve his penis part. You dont know.
All jokes aside, circumcision is male genital mutilation. Just bc it has gone on for most of known human history does not make it right. Slavery was a part of all human written history as was the subjugation of women. Simple cleaning habits negates any benefit of circumcision. It’s barbaric and needs to stop.
So it was cut-off twice? Youch!!
I’m amazed Monty Python never did a skit about the holy foreskin.
