  1. Interesting guy. Kind of a mysterious childhood. Ascended to the upper echelons of power and encouraged and practiced black separatism. Claimed he had the ear of the Prophet. Malcolm X his most famous protege broke away from his teaching and later alleged Elijah Muhammad had fathered children with a 14 year old girl. Malcolm was murdered for it.

    Minister Louis Farrakhan is his successor. The NOI is still very much a thriving organization.
