TIL that evolution has brought a flightless bird back from extinction through a process called iterative evolution.The Aldabra rail was wiped out 136K years ago by a major flood, but its relative, the white-throated rail, repopulated Aldabra Island 20K years ago and re-evolved into the lost species.

Makes me wonder how similar the DNA between the two(?) Species is.
this is why when people say you can’t prove evolution because you can’t see it, I say they don’t know what they’re talking about, Evolution is not a theory it is simply a fact
