With bread that good, you don’t need much.
And? Sounds great
No it is slices of ham in a buttered baguette.
What is the first most popular sandwich?
Un bon jambon-beurre
That doesn’t say it has slices of butter. It says it’s spread with butter. It’s the ham that’s sliced.
What else could you need? Now put your greased meat btwn my buns 😘

Didn’t they invent mayonnaise?

That one in the back, with the pickles, looks like my kinda thing.
What’s the most popular sandwich?
I mean…yes?
I think in the US sandwiches are very defined by the interior and the bread is an afterthought, these sort of european sandwiches are more like you are eating the bread and they just happen to have a little bit of stuff in them for extra flavor.
Kind of like a deconstructed sandwich really. So modern.
i think it usually also has pickles. and it’s so yummy.
Hunh, I would’ve thought #1 was jambon fromage. I’ve also had a sandiwch of French bread, fries, and butter.
The French bread is so key. I miss going to get a few sticks fresh in the morning. French butter, some jam. Café au lait.
