TIL that in 2011, Lawrence Brewer, an inmate on death row, requested a last meal that included a triple-meat bacon cheeseburger, a meat-lover’s pizza, a pound of barbecue, and two steaks. When it arrived, he said “he wasn’t hungry” — prompting officials to abolish last meals for death row inmates.

Considering that Brewer was one of the men who committed arguably [one of the worst murders in modern Texas](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_James_Byrd_Jr.), this doesn’t even make the top of his dickishness. Specifically, he and two fellow white supremacists tortured and murdered the poor bastard by dragging him behind their car whilst still alive.
Personally I’m…against the death penalty, I guess, but *fuck* some people make it hard.
I’d order the endless salad from Olive Garden.
Oklahoma limits last meals to $15 not even enough for a decent steak
I bet some COs ate good that night.
One jerk always has to ruin it for everyone else!
Where they expecting him to massively benefit from eating it?
Seems like a petty reason to stop it.
I think a last meal, no matter what you do with it, should be provided. I would not feel very hungry at the day of my execution…
He had a chance to give himself an heart attack.
What’s a pound of barbeque?
