Thats why they need more children, to make up for the losses
90% of cars on indian road don’t have seatbelts in back seats
I don’t know what value the op finds in statistics like this that are in a vacuum. They don’t mean much unless you compare them to other Asian or european countries or even the US. From some of the other videos I’ve seen on Reddit, India might rank at the top among helmet usage for youth lol
Tbh, sometimes, I am also guilty of being in the 90% that don’t wear seatbelts (maybe 40% of the time I am a passenger in a vehicle, I don’t wear rear seatbelts, I know it is stupid)
Another statistic is on child seats, less than 25% of car owning Indian parents even know what a child seat is (I didn’t know about special child seats until a few years ago). Only, 2% of parents use special child seats.
I’m surprised the percentages are that low
They don’t wear seatbelts in the passenger seat either. Most don’t wear seatbelts while driving either. 20% helmets for kids seems like a large number. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single one wear a helmet.
We have to wear seatbelts in the back seat ??? Is it mandatory in other countries?
