TIL that in the early 20th century, explorers discovered archaeological ruins at Friggs Fjord in northern Greenland, comprising the northernmost permanent settlements in human history. Due to the proximity to the North Pole, much of the year was spent in darkness.

  1. Am I just high or isnt the earth leaning on an axel, so they would have longer days in the summertime, like the rest of the nordic countries?
