  1. Just before anybody comments this – yes, she wasn’t the *original* Granny. That would be Bea Benaderet, probably best known for being on shows like “The Beverly Hillbillies”, “Petticoat Junction” and being Betty Rubble on “The Flintstones”. June was the actress who is in the more famous Looney Tunes cartoons as Granny, as well as Witch Hazel. In other cartoons she was Magica de Spell and Ma Beagle in “DuckTales” and Rocket J. Squirrel from “The Adventures of Rocky & Bullwinkle”.

  2. From the article, “he was perhaps the 4th worst president of the last 50 years”… Including Biden we’ve only had 10 presidents since 72. So, he was perhaps in the lower half barely… Funny thing is compared to today, aside from the war, many of Nixon’s policies would be considered liberal. He started the EPA, institute car efficiency standards, opened up relations with china, strengthened social welfares among many things.

  3. Technically, she wasn’t actually on Nixon’s Enemies List.

Nixon actually had *two* lists of enemies.

His main “Enemies List” contained the 20 people Nixon considered his main political opponents:

He had a second list, called the “Master list of Nixon political opponents” which contained a further 576 people:

June Foray was on that second list.

(Yup, Nixon had a lot of enemies.)
