It’s part of their settlement over lying about the addictive properties of nicotine.
The same as Shell (the oil company) was responsible for the concept of a ‘carbon footprint’ which was really just an attempt to: A) Appear to be enviromentally responsible and B) Convince people that man-made climate change is the individuals fault and not the corporations.
Makes sense since I’ve never heard of FSFW before.
You can’t lose if you’re playing both sides
They also have billions invested in the (soon-to-be completely legal) marijuana industry. So, all they’re really doing is trying to nudge people faster in the direction we all know this is going…
I think all of these required by law foundations ended up fighting vaping once that was an option.
