TIL that Mercedes McCambridge’s (the actress who voiced the demon in The Exorcist) son embezzled extensively from his company, got caught, and murdered his family and then himself. He blamed his mother.

The note he left: “Initially you said, ‘well, we can work it out’ but NO, you refused… You called me a liar, a cheat, a criminal, a bum. You said I have ruined your life… You were never around much when I needed you, so now I and my whole family are dead—so you can have the money… ‘Night, Mother.”
What kind of psychopath do you have to be to forge your mom’s name, embezzle money using the account you created illegally in her name, and then blame her for you being a murdering shithead? His kids were 13 and 9.
