    It’s not even that “eccentric”? Welles has done some stuff I’d call eccentric, but not Citizen Kane

  2. I am not a film maker or a film student. I’m not up on all the events surrounding the film. Just as a casual movie watcher, I thought it was terrible. The camera work may be good for when it was made, but, to me, it was boring. I actively tell people not to bother with it. I know why people in the industry love it, but I don’t think it’s the greatest movie ever made. I don’t even think it’s a good movie.
