TIL that Tennessee’s has a state artifcat – the Mississippian stone statue, a statue of a kneeling man carved by an unknown Native American artist between 1250-1350. It was discovered in Wilson County in 1939.

I might be missing something, but the only other US state I could find with an official state artifact was California – it has a prehistoric state artifact, the chipped stone bear, which is estimated to be between 7000-8000 years old.
