TIL that the author and screenplay writer Alistair MacLean, knocked out actor Richard Burton, during a drunken brawl. They worked together in the war movie “Where Eagles Dare”.

Richard Burton had a heroic capacity for alcohol consumption, regrettably it led to his eventual demise.
Awesome movie with Clint Eastwood too, absolutely worth a watch!
