This is like the flat earth thing, 99% of the people saying it are just trying to be funny. Very few people *actually* believe it.

I still remember being so surprised to see that conspiracy theory because back in highschool I made a joke with my best friend that Blizzard was stealing my ideas using birds
I heard about it a couple years ago, and shrugged it off. Today someone actually said to me “You know the Birds Aren’t Real dude that’s been on tv? He’s a plant by the government to say it’s satire because people think it is, but it’s real mmmaaaaaaannnn.”
The birds ain’t real, but their shit, on the other hand…
