TIL that the British MI5 hired an astrologer after they learned that Hitler supposedly used astrology to influence his actions. However it was later known that the predictions of Hitler’s astrologer were extremely inaccurate and Hitler himself thought of astrology as ‘complete nonsense’.

2. Hitler was a practical, smart guy within his fucked up worldview. He didn’t tolerate bullshit much. When the history channel does all their bullshit shows about The Nazis and the occult and all that stuff, none of that was Hitler, it was all Himmler and other weirdos. Hitler thought it was all bullshit but tolerated his senior managers indulgences because he needed them.
