When I went from Germany to Canada the first time (August 1986), I recall mentioning to my host how much warmer it was then I expected (30 C ish). And he told me to consult a map: Toronto is pretty much on the same latitude as Rome.
More americans live north of canadas southern tip than canadians
The tip of California is more North than a bunch of Canada’s population too.
There are places in America where if you travel south you enter Canada. I think in Michigan
Wait until you hear about the weird American exclave of Point Roberts.
They have not had a good pandemic.
Blowing my mind rn
Anchorage, AK and Copenhagen, DK are pretty close longitudinally.
I love farther north than 50% of Canadians and I’m in america
The Canadian winters suck way more though. Like -20C/-4F versus 0C/32F.
