  1. It goes over a lot of people’s heads (pun half-intended) how much our atmosphere moves things around. Spiders cross oceans by throwing a line of silk into the air and get carried by the electrical fields in the sky. It’s called ballooning, and there is a thin level of the atmosphere called the arachnosphere that they are bound to during this travel.
