TIL that The Maze, Utah ranks as the one of riskiest hike in the world. It is the least accessible district of Canyonlands. It’s a difficult place to navigate, with lots of side canyons and dead ends from the main trail. Food and water are scarce, and could take rescuers three days to reach.

Miranda did NOT do great on that challenge.
But it’s COMPLETELY worth it! Go in prepared and educated and it’s absolutely lovely, not only for the things you see but for how alone you are. There just aren’t that many places you can go anymore that can’t be summed up by some photos or by a video.
Seen this from above from the Grand Point Overlook in Canyonlands and it indeed looks intimidating
