TIL that the US is NOT in the top 10 most obese countries in the world (by obesity rate). The top 10 are all Pacific Islands, #11 is Kuwait, and #12 is USA

Maybe so, but that doesn’t mean this is not serious stuff in the US. Grew up in the 50’s and 60’s. Sure… there were obese people then, but not at all like I see today. Being overweight has become the norm, even for kids.
For first world countries we are fat fucks. Not a good goal.
So the U.S. doesn’t have the highest percentage of obese people, it just had the most obese people.
