  1. Right – I can spell my own name, and I can count up to 10, but could someone do an ELI5 on this?

    What IS antimatter? I mean – is it a thing that we can control, and add matter to? There is a picture of some in the article, but I don’t get it.

    “There could be whole antiworlds and antipeople made out of antiparticles. However, if you meet your antiself, don’t shake hands! You would both vanish in a great flash of light.”

    So – does this mean you weigh antimatter in antigrams?! How does any of this work?

  2. Fun fact: in Star Trek this is what supposedly powers warp engines, they use a fictional catalyst to “control” the energy output so it’s not just boom.
