TIL The Chadar Trek is considered one of the toughest treks in India. The trek takes about 8 days to complete, walking 105 km over a frozen river from Padum to Chilling near Leh. The temperature during this time can be as low as -10C in the morning and -25 to -30C in the evening.

Seems pretty chilly near Chilling
Do you get to rest and chill when you get there?
Seems like a pretty standard winter day,and walking on a frozen river would be pretty flat. How is this hard?
