  1. Heh. Electric cars predates gasoline cars, but battery tech nearly guaranteed they’d be garbage until Lithium batteries reached sufficient mass production capacity around… basically Now.

    So while it’s good that there was this research and prototyping, they were unlikely to be well suited for the average drivers requirements until quite recently.
