TIL the reason for the signs that say “$10 if we fail to give you a receipt” at stores. They aren’t for receipt-obsessed customers, they are there to keep the employees from stealing. If employees don’t ring up your purchase and generate receipt, the employee could just put cash in their pocket.

Do they mean like scanning the items? Or just not printing the ticket, cuz either way that just looks like a good way to get fired tbh
The card readers literally tell u what’s happening, in the customer end. So like???
