TIL: The song “It wasn’t me” by Shaggy was almost never was released, but due to a copy being uploaded to a peer to peer network, a Hawaiian DJ named Pablo Sato single handedly was responsible for getting the song the traction in needed to go mainstream.

The song was also based on an Eddie Murphy bit in one of his stand up specials.
