TIL when actor Chazz Palminteri was 9yrs old living in the Bronx, he witnessed a mobster get killed in front of his apartment building. He included the incident in a one man play he wrote and starred in that Robert Deniro saw. They decided to turn it into the movie “A Bronx Tale”.
