TIL When Adam Reed quit Cartoon Network he stole the master tapes for Sealab 2020. Reed would later use these tapes to make the pilot for Sealab 2021 which was picked up by Adult Swim.

An interesting result of this theft is that Viacom gave Reed a contract that roughly said, ‘you made this product with material stolen from our company so if you don’t sign this contract we’ll sue you’ which was a whole thing.
