Today I learned about ‘Sheela na gig’, ancient Celtic stone carvings with large, skull-like heads who stand or squat in an act of display, thighs spread, and one or both hands pointing to or pulling apart an exaggerated vulva.

The other photos of sculptures in that article, specifically the one in Milan from the 1500’s, are pretty damn bizarre. Ancient porn? Lol. But really, the one I’m referring to the woman is holding what looks like a modern day vibrator up to her vagina.
