Today I learned that the ice formed in the arctic pole region has no salt in it even though it’s made from seawater.

Makes so much sense that it’s expelled as it freezes. I’m having a hard time believing I never questioned that before. Especially considering I’ve used salt on ice to melt it all my life. My brain melted a little bit.
