My parents had split and were both working lots, so I got babysat by my grandparents a bunch.
When Littlefoot’s Mom died, I didn’t feel as rocked as was intended.
My little brain thought “Yeah, it sucks your Mom died, but that’s what parents do, they go away. You’ve still got your Grandparents somewhere. They’ll be there for you!”

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is a fictional character created by Willy Wonka. I think I understand a lot more of the dry comedy now that I’m older, but I loved it as a kid as well.
