Pure “sandler” movie is absolutely Wedding Singer. It has the goofiness but it’s also a legitimately well made comedy with a compelling story. It’s peak Sandler.
Non Sandler movie is Punch Drunk Love and it isn’t close.
But I’ve never laughed harder in a theater than I did when I saw Billy Madison as a 15 yr old.

Grown Ups. I’ve seen it countless times. Not as funny as it was when I was a kid, but still funny as hell.
