Bro I know, right? They treat us desktop users like second class citizens. Since everybody is expected to have a phone and use it all the time, its almost as if they forgot that some of us just prefer the look and feel of using a computer.
Or maybe you’re just me, whose parents haven’t given you a goddamn phone yet.
Most traffic on reddit these days is by mobile users. You can still use old.reddit with the RES browser extension for the classic Reddit desktop experience. That’s how I primarily browse reddit and I haven’t seen much of a decline in quality browsing reddit over the past 10 years.
Don’t feel bad they keep making the app worse too
